Academia de Jiu-Jitsu: Helena Crevar just secured a big win at ONE: The Inner Circle 22 on July 17th, 2026, as she managed to earn the unanimous decision over Paige Ivette. Although she couldn’t get the finish in the match, it was a great performance that solidified her status as one of the top competitors in the world. Crevar has only had one match for ONE Championship prior to this but after a successful debut, she’s clearly working her way towards a title-shot now. Her first match was a submission win over Teshya Alo at ONE Fight Night 39 and after some issues cutting weight back then, this match against Ivette was booked at openweight.

Crevar was able to get mount and eventually transition to the back against Ivette, spending a bit of time hunting for the rear-naked choke. To her credit, Ivette’s defense was virtually perfect and she was able to fend off each attack that Crevar threw at her. The match wound down and after 10 minutes of action, Crevar was given the nod from the judges. Crevar is now 2-0 at ONE Championship and she was coming into this match off the back of another title-fight, as she successfully defended her lightweight title with a submission win over Amanda Pamela Nicole at Polaris 37 just last month.

This puts her in an excellent position to challenge for the inaugural ONE Championship openweight title, or potentially lightweight or featherweight if she chooses to do so. Crevar has one more pressing issue in front of her before she can think about that though, as she is currently in preparation for ADCC 2026. It’s the biggest event on the calendar for any no gi grappler and for Crevar in particular, this tournament is a special moment. After coming away with a silver medal in the under 65kg division at ADCC 2024, Crevar is now moving up to the over 65 kg division and at just 19 years old; she has a chance to become the youngest female ADCC world champion ever.
